Active ageing

Active ageing is the paradigm that currently directs most interventions and policies in realation to people ageing, based on the works by the World Health Organization during the Second World Assembly on Ageing held in Madrid in 2002 by the United Nations.

We have been one of the leader organizations in Spain in the introduction and development of active ageing. We design, set up and evaluate population-aimed active ageing programmes that can be carried out by a wide range of organizations, such as public administrations (specially local governments), as well as companies, through their social responsability programes, or older people associations..
